19 Aug EMERGENCY 101.

Since I’m going on a trip this weekend, I decided to write about my makeup essentials when going on a vacation. I am going to emphasize on the word ESSENTIALS because if you know me, you know this isn’t the only makeup I’d pack to wherever in the world I’m going. So let’s get to it!

The moisturizer I bring depends on what type of weather I’m going to expect but this Embryolisse Lait – Crème Concentré has been my go-to. It’s a little thick but it moisturizes your skin so well.

For sprays, I bring both a travel sized version of MAC’s Fix + ($12)  and Ben Nye’s Final Seal ($12).

For my foundation, I chose one that feels light on the skin but has an amazing coverage with a beautiful finish. No, it’s not my usual Armani foundation. It’s currently my second favorite right now, the Diorskin Nude Air ($53) in Honey Beige.

For my blush, I try to pick a color that would look well with different looks. Here I chose Colourpop’s Prenup ($8) for a muted pink with a subtle shimmer. And for my bronzer, my go-to, Benefit’s Hoola ($29). I don’t know what it is about this product. Sometimes it looks too dark or too light for you but when you put it on, it’s the perfect fit.

For concealing, I usually always go for a very lightweight concealer because I don’t have dark circles under my eye so I use MAC’s Prep + Prime Highlighter in Light Boost ($27) for a sheer wash of color in the high points on my face.

I keep my eyes simple when I’m traveling. I usually just bring a brown eyeliner, a highlighting eyeliner and of course, a mascara.

For brows, it’s just my usual sculptor. Here I’m using the Anastasia Brow Definer in Soft Brown ($23). This product is the bomb.

I bring all sorts of lip colors but all you really need is the perfect nude and the perfect red/bold lip.

And of course, never travel without your setting powder. Laura Mercier’s Translucent Loose Setting Powder ($38) is everyone’s holy grail.

I also never forget to pack makeup wipes because duh, they are essentials. Although they don’t get all the makeup out, it still does the job when you’re constantly on the go.
