13 Feb HOW TO COVER UP YOUR TATTOO.

Tattoos have become more common and acceptable these days but for those occasions that you do need to cover them up, here’s how:

  1. Trace or color in your tattoo with a red based lip liner or lipstick. This neutralizes the color. Wait for it to dry. This part is really important because you don’t want to smudge red lipstick all over your body.
  2. Use a full coverage concealer. Some people start with a cool based concealer then layer is with a warmer one which you don’t have to do. You can go right in with the concealer that matches your skin tone. Blend it well with a sponge and build coverage until your tattoo disappears.
  3. Set the area with powder. I usually use my MAC Studio Fix Powder just to put a bit more coverage. I apply it with a brush and dab it with a damp beauty blender that I’ve spritzed with some setting powder so it lasts the occasion.
