08 Jul INEXPENSIVE BUT IMPRESSIVE.
Acquiring makeup doesn’t always mean breaking the bank, right? Being a makeup addict means you don’t overlook any brand regardless of the price range.
Here are some of my drugstore faves:
L’Oréal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Bare Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 18 ($12.95)
This is a dupe for my Armani Maestro Fusion foundation. It comes out as liquid but when it dries, it turns into powder. Trust me when I say, a little goes a long way with this foundation. Just a couple of dots all over your face and you’re left with a poreless, soft focus finish.
NYX Hi Definition Photo Concealer Wand ($4.99)
It’s no wonder why this concealer is one of the brands best sellers. It is so creamy, has great coverage and blends out really well. It’s also non-comedogenic, so it won’t clog your pores. It’s actually really similar to the NARS Radiant concealer, which is probably the reason both are cult favorites.
Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara ($2.99)
I was binge watching Lauren Curtis’ YouTube tutorials and at the time, which may have been 2-3 years ago, this was the mascara she swore by. It gives you those dramatic but not spidery lashes. The only thing that bothers me is that it does dry out faster than most mascaras that I’ve used but I mean, its so budget friendly, I don’t mind throwing out the old to repurchase a new.
Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso ($8.49)
This is honestly one of my favorite blushes. Luminoso is a subtle peach blush with a splash of pink shimmery tones but the pigment of this blush is insane. It doesn’t have too much shimmer that would make you look like your oily or sweating. It gives you a flushed but glowing look.
NYX Illuminator in Narcissistic ($8.99)
Living in the Philippines means it’s summer almost all year round which makes illuminators and highlighters an all year use. It’s not chunky like some illuminators and it leaves you with a radiant gleam.
