25 Apr KRIS’ TOP 5 MUST-HAVES
Embryolisse Secret de Maquilleurs BB Cream.
Am I allowed to swear on a blog? But h*ly $h!t. This BB cream is beyond words for me. Its something I’ve been using every day since I first got it. And when I’m going for my usual no-makeup-makeup-look, I use this as something like a primer and put a water based foundation over it. I regularly use the MUFE face&body and it just makes your face look so smooth and flawless.
This isn’t your typical BB Cream. First of all, it matches any skin color with its universal shade which minimizes the stress of finding the perfect shade or mixing two tones to get the perfect one. It creates a smooth veil of matte perfection on your skin and manages to blur your imperfections. Most BB creams I’ve used are kind of like an ultra light coverage foundation which is why, as I said earlier, I use the Embryolisse BB Cream as kind of a primer for my foundation.
Tom Ford Brow Sculptor
For those who know me personally, you know I am an honorary member of the eyebrow police department. The Tom Ford Brow Sculptor is thick and angled which makes it pretty idiot-proof. It also comes with a sharpener and a spooley.
My eyebrow philosophy is: if you’re spending more than 5 minutes on your brows, you’re doing it wrong. This is why I love this brow sculptor because in two minutes, my brows are done. It’s pricey, I know but definitely worth the money to keep those eyebrows on fleek!
Déjà Vu Fiberwig Mascara
Okay so I strongly, strongly dislike waterproof mascaras. Don’t get me wrong, they hold the curls on your lashes so well but taking them off is just a nightmare on my end so I’ve opted for water resistant mascara instead. This Déjà Vu Fiberwig mascara was a random find in Sasa during my last Hong Kong trip (I really wish I stocked up on them). Clumpy, spidery lashes aren’t my thing and that’s why I love this mascara so much. It coats every lash without it sticking together so much which gives your lashes more of that natural look.
Le Lipstique by Lancome
I’ve been really lazy when it comes to putting lipstick on these days. This lipliner has been my go to for years. Bronzelle is MLBB. It’s creamy just like lipstick but I find that it lasts much longer. When I’m up and about you’d find this on me more often than any lipstick.
Mac Prep&Prime highlighting pen
Because I don’t have crazy eye bags or intense dark circles under my eye (thank you, awesome genetics), I prefer using a light coverage highlighter that doubles as my concealer. Like I’ve mentioned above, I’ve been doing the whole “no-makeup-makeup-look” a lot these days and this product is just perfect for that.
