I’m one of those girls that dreads taking out their makeup. Sometimes, I put it off so bad that I completely forget to take it off. I know, I know, it’s bad. I eventually put a pack of makeup wipes on my bedside table so I can wipe and go. But still, I realized that no matter what the brand is, makeup wipes remove only about 70%.

I then found people using micellar water. It’s not a face wash or a toner. It’s a product that cleanses your skin and removes makeup without having to rinse it off. It’s like magic water! I was so curious so, I did a little research and it turns out that micellar water first to ok off in France. It was designed to help the locals deal with their harsh water supply. Micellar water has tiny round balls of cleansing oil molecules that are suspended in water. They’re attracted to oil and dirt so they draw out impurities without drying the skin.

Here are the micellar waters I’ve tried, tested and loved:

Bioré Micellar Cleansing Water ($3.90)

L’Oréal Micellar Water ($6.08)

Bioderma Sensibio H2o 500 ML ($16.90)

Maybelline Micellar Water ($4.10)

Micellar water is good for all skin types. So try it out and the lazy girl in you will thank you!
