Madonna, the true Rebel Heart, developed her own skincare line in collaboration with MTG, Japan’s leading beauty company. Not yet available worldwide, MDNA Skin was launched in Hong Kong and of course, I had to have it.
Madonna was quite smart in putting this together, because many of these products have similar siblings outside the market. But she was the first to package them all together. Fair warning though, it’s pretty expensive.
There are six products in the range, which include a face wash, rose mist toner, serum, eye serum, chrome clay mask and skin rejuvenator. You can buy these individually or as a set, and one of the unique tools that come with it is a metal massager-like gadget used for the face. This is used hand-in-hand with the chrome clay mask.
It’s important to note that the chrome clay mask is made with a base of clay from Montecatini Terma in Italy, which enriches skin. You apply a layer of this on your entire face, but instead of washing it off, you use the gadget to gently remove it.
Stimulating collagen growth, the gadget effortlessly picks up the mask like a magnet, leaving a very light serum on your skin. The science behind the gadget is based on a specialized Magnetic Force and Deep Derma induction system that helps to remove impurities and revitalize skin. It’s very relaxing I must say.
