Contour Products for Light Skin
Finding the correct shade of contour products for fair complexions can tend to be a little daunting, as light skin is extremely fastidious once it comes to makeup. I prefer using contour products with a grey undertone because it mimics real shadows and therefore looks more natural (ahem). Using orange or red tinged products for sculpting out facial features can result in muddy looking makeup on fair skin, so be sure to keep those colors aside for bronzing.
I use cream contour products whenever I want a more dewy finish, as there is no need to set my face with powder. Contrary to popular belief, cream contour is much easier to work with if your skin condition is ideal – because of its consistency and ability to move around, you are able to buff it in seamlessly without patches or harsh lines. However, on nights out or special events I use a combination of both cream and powder contour for more intense definition.
Here, I’ve rounded up my all-time favorite powder and cream contour products that are sure to suit fair to light skin tones.
