28 Apr POWDER FABRIC FOUNDATION REVIEW.
Since my love affair with the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation began, any time Armani came out with a new foundation, I was always so intrigued and excited to try it.
The Powder Fabric Foundation ($64) is unlike Armani’s usual celestial look. It has a full coverage with a velvet-matte finish that is also long wearing. But it still gives you a very natural look. How do they do that? Most foundations with a matte finish don’t make you look a little too good to be true but this foundation looks natural on the skin.
My skin was pretty dry when I first tried it because it was still acclimatizing to the San Francisco weather but it did not highlight any of the dry patches I had at the time. It didn’t even crease! It’s so lightweight that it lets your skin breathe and you end up forgetting you’re even wearing any makeup.
The only con I can think of is that your shade with the other Armani foundations don’t match your shade with the Powder Fabric. I’m usually a 7-7.5, so initially, I grabbed that color without really swatching it. But when I got home, I realized it was more of my moms shade than mine. So I ended up going back to find the perfect match and I ended up with a shade 8. So it is definitely best to try it on before making the investment.
Armani never disappoints when it comes to foundation. Simple as that!
