I was one of those girls who slept with their makeup on growing up – whether it was because my makeup was too pretty to take off or simply because I was just that lazy, it stayed on. It was bad and I knew it but thinking about having to wash my face to clean it all off, grab a cotton ball for my eye makeup and attempt to remove the leftover glue in my lashes just made me want to sleep. Naturally, I started breaking out and my skin was taking a turn for the worst. So I decided to step it up and I explored the world of makeup wipes.

My longtime favorite was the Neutrogena wipes. It was cheap and it was convenient because at the time, I was living in San Francisco. It was in every drugstore at sight. But after using it for so many years, I realized that those wipes just weren’t enough because I noticed there was still some makeup left here and there on my face. After years of being lazy, I had to take a longer process taking off my makeup. I washed my face, then used wipes and finished off with micellar water to see if I missed anything.

My one step for face cleansing turned into a three step process. That was until I found these micellar wipes. The Simple Micellar Makeup Remover Wipes ($7.99) is pretty much cloth drenched in micellar water which makes it so brilliant! The formula of these wipes don’t contain any oil or alcohol and have no fragrance as well, so it is very gentle on the skin. The lazy girl in me was so happy when I found these!

I haven’t tried any cleansing wipes. Back in college I just wash my face with a foaming cleanser and a toner. Now that the micellar water mania has dropped in the PH, I wanted to try all of it. Haha! I’ll give this one a try since I’m lazy too!
