The Makeup Addicts | WAYNE GOSS ARTIST BRUSH: A STROKE OF BEAUTY
Katrina Ponce-Enrile, and her daughter Kris, are self-confessed “beauty junkies” and “makeup hoarders,” who have proudly embraced their addiction as a lifelong passion. The two strong women are kindred spirits, united in their love for makeup and the world of beauty, which has become their grownup playground.

04 Sep WAYNE GOSS ARTIST BRUSH: A STROKE OF BEAUTY

If you’re not too familiar, Wayne Goss is the hunky beauty guru, who’s been making waves on YouTube for his honest and candid makeup reviews and tutorials. He’s been in the biz for about 15 years now, and he recently set out to create his own line of makeup brushes – and one of the most stunning pieces from his line is the Artist Brush.

Unlike your typical makeup brush, the Artist Brush looks and feels like it’s made for calligraphy artists. And this is by no accident as this particular brush is handmade by the best brush-makers in Kumano, Japan. There’s no denying the craftsmanship and love put into making this piece.

While the handle is made from hard maple wood, the bristles are made from unique blend of gray squirrel and Sokoho goat hair, which makes the brush luxuriously soft on the skin.

Makeup is an art form, so it’s only fitting that you use the best tools from the trade. I give this two thumbs up!

This resembles that NARS Mie Kabuki brush. I love its shape.
